Modern NScripter support?

Code: Select all

i  = * ( long * ) &y;                       // evil floating point bit level hacking
i  = 0x5f3759df - ( i >> 1 );               // what the fuck?

Modern NScripter support?

Post by maru »

I keep thinking about 90s-00s VNs. The look and feel is something I always feel like I can go after, but usually you're better off just running the old software and shipping with it.

Is there anything stopping us from just using NScripter these days? Are there modern equivalents?

Which version of NScripter are you hoping to acquire? The website is still around. It was worked on until 2018, it seems. Do you really wanna use this particular software like how we were originally using IPB?

Maybe you could code up a model of an old version of NScripter and copy its workflow if old versions aren't avalible anymore.
are the party rockers in the room with us right now?
