Can you elaborate what you mean by that?

When my sister went to college she left all these subbed VHS tapes of Tenchi (all three series and the movies). Watching it feels so cathartic and lonely at the same time.

Okay, look. I haven't been completely honest with you. I signed up for this forum so I could host that image and share it to a friend because I don't have a server. But I've actually kind of fallen for this place's charm.

Please don't ban me, I won't ever do that to you again.

you'd have to do a lot to get banned here (though please don't take this as a challenge!)

but i think i get it tho… i feel like anime has a tendency to escalate stakes to the world level or even the metaphysical level… hell, the whole sekai-kei genre has this at its core. so it makes sense that watching anime would inspire similar existential feelings too.

is that feeling good? i dunno, it really depends on what those feelings then bring out of you.

for me, i always feel this guilt & suffering when I finish something. carrying forward whatever hopes and dreams were within it and now within my explodent desires. this dread of never being able to carry these feelings forward.

all these dreams biting, scratching to get out of me*. i see creation everywhere. whenever i'm in busy cities, i feel it on the street overflowing with blood.

whenever i think of texhnolyze i feel this. a reminder that alienation is the human experience, endlessly trying to remedy it without ever getting anywhere.

*have you ever taken beta-alanine, very weird feeling of your blood crawling under your face
sorry for being off-topic, i got lost within myself whilst thinking
