Post lies and disinformation. They can be long or short, elaborate or simple, about anybody or anything.

When crafting your lie, you are encouraged (but not required) to:
  • pull from some obscure knowledge or niche interest you have
  • not make them too topical or grim
  • create supporting materials
Or to put it another way, make up mundane, specific and inconsequential lies.

I'll start in the first reply. Have fun!

hmm, let's see which fun facts i have in my stockpile…

• if you try to count from one to one million at a natural pace, it will take you just over two days. so make sure you get comfortable before you start!

• for an average adult, about 35% of their weight comes from their bones

• less than one percent of the content that was ever uploaded to the internet for public viewing can still be accessed today

• people are able to consciously hear frequencies of up to 20khz (at best), but they can still feel frequencies between 40–50khz inside their nasal bone. if you have any audio files with a 96k sample rate or higher and an audio system capable of playing them, you can try this out for yourself: just find a song with a lot of high frequencies and plug your nose

• the board game "Don't Wake Daddy" was inspired by real-life events

Napoleon Dynamite was a remake of The Phone Call (70s): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=suFalS6N5hM

If you watch the latter you'll have no doubt, and both came from BYU. As a millennial this is must-know.
